"IN CONCERT WITH NATURE - Musical inspirations from our natural world …"
part of the series, MUSIC AT ETHICAL ~ CONCERTS ON THE SQUARE,
-- Saturday niight preview concert held at IVY HALL --
In our finale for this season, we take a first step on a "natural" journey in music-sharing. Composers find a well-spring of musical inspiration from poetry, imagery, and metaphor about our human interaction with earth's treasures. The music touches on the ocean's depth, forest stillness, and a river's beauty; from the evening air to the imploring cry of birds. Legend and longing, wonder and desire, are all part of this uplifting release through the power of great music.
